Technology that transforms for you
In a world where business never stands still, one New Zealand crew helps organisations grow, innovate and stay secure: practical guidance, managed IT services and trusted expertise, engaged at your command.
Technology should make your organisation mightier, not busier.
IT Works is a New Zealand technology alliance helping organisations harness their machines and roll forward with confidence. By uniting managed IT services, cybersecurity, AI enablement and technology strategy into one force, we deliver a connected approach that defends today’s operations while charging up tomorrow’s opportunities.
For more than 18 years we’ve stood shoulder to shoulder with organisations across New Zealand, helping leaders make smarter technology decisions, cut through complexity and build resilient, secure strongholds ready for the long campaign ahead.
The greatest missions rarely begin with a distress call. They begin with a goal. Whether you’re powering up for growth, reinforcing your defences, embracing AI or searching for a trusted ally to guide the next stage of your journey, that’s when our circuits really light up.
Four mighty pillars. One unstoppable alliance.
Technology should help your organisation grow, innovate, stay secure and command every decision with confidence. These four pillars combine into a single fighting force, far more powerful together than any one of them alone.

Roll out →Managed Technology Operations
Keep the engines running. Reliable technology, rapid-response support and a foundation built for the long haul keep your people powered up and productive.
Roll out →For generations, technology was something you kept running. Now it is something you must command, and the decisions come at you faster than ever before.
AI and modern tools are opening up new ways to work, and there’s more opportunity than ever. But technology only matters for what it helps your people do: work smarter, stay productive, make better decisions and achieve more than they thought possible.
The real power isn’t simply owning the latest machines. It’s knowing what to activate, what will genuinely turn the tide, and how to unite it all so your team can do their best work.
That’s where we transform the game.
From setting the strategy to running it every day, we fight alongside you the whole way.
Our approach is a complete, end‑to‑end technology alliance.
At its core is strategy and roadmap, making sure your technology is locked onto where your organisation is heading, not just where it stands today. Around that core we command the full lifecycle of your IT environment: support through our Technology Operations Centre, onboarding, vendor coordination, monitoring and security, and ongoing reporting and improvement. It’s not just about repairing damage. It’s about upgrading your environment with every passing cycle.
We deploy the full arsenal too: Managed IT, cybersecurity, cloud and Microsoft 365, network infrastructure (firewalls, switching, business Wi-Fi, VPNs and connectivity), voice and calling, backup and continuity, AI enablement, and projects and procurement. Each unit connected and fighting as one, never in isolation.
The result is a combined force where nothing is missed, nothing is duplicated, and everything moves as one. One ally who takes command across strategy, delivery and day‑to‑day operations, so you can stay focused on your own mission.

IT Works have been a strong partner for us. We stepped away from managing everything in-house because IT changes quickly, and it made sense to tap into specialists instead. They cover desktop support, Microsoft 365, cloud, cybersecurity, phishing support, AI tools, and broader advice. They keep things clear and practical, and help us make good calls. I’d highly recommend talking to them. They’re nimble, knowledgeable, and explain the tech in plain English.
What transforms when technology is handled properly
Most organisations never notice their technology until it powers down. The difference a true ally makes shows up somewhere less obvious: in the questions your team stops having to ask.
Your people stop waiting
When someone calls our Operations Centre, they reach an engineer with the power to fix the problem, not someone who logs it and passes it down the line. Most issues are defeated in that first conversation.
Your leadership team gets answers
Technology decisions arrive with a recommendation and a reason, not a quote and a shrug. You know what you are spending, what it is doing, and what appears next on the radar.
Your security position is known
Not assumed. We operate to recognised standards, hold SMB1001:2025 Gold certification and are working through SOC 2 Type II, so when a client, insurer or board sounds the alarm, the answer is already locked and loaded.
Your environment improves over time
Regular reviews mean small glitches are neutralised before they become expensive battles. Your technology should be in better shape next cycle than it is today.
A Technology Operations Centre, not a call logging Helpdesk
Most IT providers run a Helpdesk built to answer calls, log tickets and pass them along to another squad for resolution.
Our Technology Operations Centre runs on a different protocol.
When you contact IT Works, you’re speaking directly with experienced engineers empowered to investigate, troubleshoot and neutralise issues on the spot.
Their goal isn’t simply to create a ticket. Their goal is to get your people back in action.
Because our Operations Centre is crewed by capable technical engineers, many issues are resolved during the first transmission, cutting delays, hand-offs and unnecessary escalation.
When specialist firepower is required, we call in the right unit. But for most missions, the engineer you speak with can begin the counter-attack immediately.
The result is faster resolutions, less disruption and a support experience worthy of your organisation.
Experienced Engineers
Your call is answered by a battle-ready Level 2 engineer rather than a first-line desk. They have the access and the authority to start investigating straight away, so you explain the problem once and the mission begins immediately.
Resolution First
What matters to us is whether your problem is defeated, not how quickly a ticket was raised. Wherever possible the engineer who answers sees it through to victory during that first call, so nothing sits in a queue waiting for reinforcements.
Fewer Hand-offs
Every hand-off costs time and means repeating your briefing. Issues stay with the engineer already on the case, and we only call in a specialist when the mission genuinely demands one. Even then, the ally you started with stays at your side.
We stand with organisations who depend on their technology
Across professional services, health, manufacturing, the public sector and mission-driven organisations who share our values. If your technology matters to how you grow and serve, we’re ready to answer the call.

IT Works have been amazing to work with. They’ve supported us through a big managed IT transition, helped with Microsoft 365, cybersecurity, SharePoint governance, Copilot and our recent office move, and they’ve done it all with care, patience and really clear guidance. What we value most is that they take the time to understand our kaupapa and our people. They don’t just fix things, they help us plan well and move forward with confidence.
Organisations across Aotearoa roll with us
We meet you where you are
Some organisations arrive with no internal IT at all. Others have a capable IT manager who needs specialist reinforcements behind them, or an executive team that wants a clearer scan of the risks before the next board meeting. A few simply want someone to take command of the whole operation.
All of those are workable starting positions. What matters is that technology decisions are made deliberately, never by default.
No internal IT
We become your technology command: support, security, strategy and supplier management united under one agreement.
An internal IT team
We add specialist firepower in cybersecurity, Microsoft 365, cloud infrastructure and project delivery, so your team can focus on the missions only they can run.
A specific problem to solve
A migration, a security review, a Copilot rollout or a compliance requirement. We scope it properly and see it through to the final frame.
IT Works have made a real difference for our team. They’ve helped make our work lives easier, more productive and far less stressful when it comes to technology. They listen, they understand the work we do with rangatahi, and they always make us feel heard. Nothing feels like a silly question, and their support has had a positive flow-on effect for the people and whānau we’re here to serve.
Technology should be one of your greatest allies, not another rival competing for your attention.
